Cancellation Policy

At Niswarth, we work hard to process and ship your sarees quickly. However, we understand that sometimes you may wish to cancel an order. This Cancellation Policy explains when and how cancellations can be made.

1. Order Cancellation by Customer

  • Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order, provided the order has not yet been shipped.

  • Once the order is shipped, cancellations are not possible. You may, however, initiate a return request once the product is delivered (please refer to our Return & Refund Policy).

2. Refund for Cancelled Orders

  • For prepaid orders: The full refund amount will be credited to your original payment method (credit card, debit card, UPI, or net banking) within 7–10 business days after cancellation approval.

  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: Since no payment is collected at checkout, there is no refund required.

3. Automatic Cancellation by Niswarth

We reserve the right to cancel an order under the following circumstances:

  • Stock unavailability – If the saree ordered is out of stock or discontinued.

  • Payment failure or suspected fraud – If we are unable to verify payment or detect suspicious activity.

  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping details – If the address or phone number provided is invalid and prevents successful delivery.

  • Force majeure events – Delays or disruptions caused by natural disasters, strikes, lockdowns, or government restrictions.

In such cases, if payment has already been made, the customer will receive a full refund.

4. Partial Cancellation

  • Partial cancellations of items in a multi-item order may be possible, but only if the cancellation request is made within 24 hours and the items have not been shipped.

  • If one or more items are already shipped, those cannot be cancelled, but the remaining unshipped items may be eligible.

5. Amendments Instead of Cancellation

  • Instead of cancelling, customers may request address changes, size changes (if applicable), or replacement with another product of equal or higher value within the 24-hour window.

  • If the value of the new order is higher, the customer will need to pay the difference.

6. How to Cancel an Order

To ensure smooth processing, please provide:

  1. Order ID/number

  2. Registered email/phone number

  3. Reason for cancellation

  • Cancellation requests after shipment cannot be entertained.

  • Niswarth reserves the right to modify or update this Cancellation Policy without prior notice.
