Care & Instructions

Pure Mysore silk is a delicate natural fiber that requires proper maintenance to preserve its luster and longevity.
  • Ironing: Iron only on a low-to-medium silk setting. Always use a clean cotton press cloth between the iron and the saree to protect the gold zari from heatdamage.
  • Storage: Store flat or wrapped in a breathable muslin or soft cotton cloth. Avoid hanging on metal hangers for prolonged periods to prevent structural stretching. Keep away from direct sunlight to avoid color fading.
  • Washing: Strictly dry clean only. Avoid machine washing or hand washing with regular detergents, as water can distort the crepe texture and strip the natural silk proteins
